As celebration for the now released PA beta our community sites United-Forum.de and CnC-Inside.de gave away the last 6 Alpha keys of Planetary Annihilation. Each Alpha key is worth $70 and also grants access to the beta and final release versions of PA.
What are the results of the polls?
In our first poll we asked whether you played other large-scale RTS games like Total Annihilation or Supreme Commander before or if PA will be your first large scale RTS game.
- 68,24% voted that they played Supreme Commander before
- 45,88% voted that they played Total Annihilation before
- 21,18% voted that PA will be their first large scale RTS game
(participants could select more than one option, this is why there are more than 100% in total)
In our second poll we asked which unique features of PA the players like the most.
- 63,73% voted for spherical maps
- 55,88% voted for destructable terrain
- 50,98% voted for scale and scalability
- 43,14% voted for planet generator
- 42,16% voted for strategic zoom
- 38,24% voted vor strong mod support
- 35,29% voted for sci-fi setting
- 26,47% voted for client-server multiplayer
- 19,61% voted for simulations driven

In our third poll we asked whether players would prefer Planetary Annihilation by Uber or Total Annihilation 2 by Chris Taylor?
