A mural drawn by Canadian medic Adj. Jules Berube of St. Redempteur, Que. adorns the wall of patrol base Sperwan Ghar in the Panjwaii district of Kandahar province, October 1, 2009. Berube signed the mural on June 21, 2007 using his handprint and every Canadian army medic to be stationed at the base since has added their handprint to the wall, creating a visual record now referred to as "The Healing Hands of Sperwan Ghar."
