Habs mir durchgelesen und fand, dass es ein wirklich aufschlussreicher und guter Artikel über IdrA ist. Interview ist es eher weniger.

Ok, let's talk balance. MC just dropped out of Code-S, leaving just five Protoss players left there. The statistics show that Protoss is at its worst win rate in almost a year. What do you think of the state of Protoss nowadays?

I knew that the days like that are going to happen. I mean like few months ago, we (Protoss) already did almost all things we could do then, we used all the units of Protoss and we just had to make the usage of them perfect, improve our build orders and so on. Terrans and Zergs didn't use some of the main things that I was sure they're going to use very soon. For example, terrans before didn't use ghosts a lot in TvsP and that's why they were losing a lot to HT play, because they made like 3 ghosts and that's enough. Nowdays Terrans use all of the things they can in their combination, I still think they might even use raven soon, we'll see if that's possible. Ghosts, Vikings, Medivacs, Marauders, this combination is very very scary.

Zergs didn't use that well of creep spread and infestors, now nowdays Zergs poop all the map with their creep and make sometimes ONLY infestors, because after the patch they're so scary. I think zergs will use Nydus worms more often very soon. Actually, I hope they wont ^^. Because of that, Protoss players already use all the thing they can use, we can't do anything more, we don't have a good harass unit except Phoenix, which is kinda hard to transition to because protoss need a lot of gas, it is possible to harass other races, but it's harder than doing it as a zerg (very very fast units) or terran (medivac drops, cloaked ghosts).

So do you think Protoss can turn this bad situation around with some new ideas, or do you think that a patch will be needed to fix things? If so, what should be changed?

I don't have any idea what to change. I just would like to banshee would not destroy protoss that hard ^^. It's in Blizzard hands what to do with the balance, if they don't do anything with that, we, players, must do something on our own.

Q:Why is your race so favored by blizz?

Rain: I think there's a lot of Blizzard Employees that play terran

MKP: I think Terran should be strong cause they're people. If monsters are strong it's boring

Puma: Blizzard just wants to set the storyline for a hero to come out of Zerg and Protoss. It's actually better for them.

Q:Who is the creator of 1/1/1? Is 1/1/1 imba? How do they feel about balance? How do you defend a 1/1/1?

Puma: MKP

Is 1/1/1 imba?

Puma: It's not imba. It's a "know how". It depends on who uses it.

MKP: If I do it, it's not imba. If other terrans do it, it's not imba

Rain: Same answer as Puma

Q:To Rain: What was going through his head during the ridiculous TvT against Boxer at MLG Anaheim?

It's the first time he's played a game like that, so it was a lot of fun

Q:Who is the toughest opponents for the other 2 races? How do they feel about how TvT has evolved after the blue flame nerf?

MKP: Idra, Nestea Rain: DRG Puma: Idra

Protoss:

MKP: Sase, Huk Rain: Huk Puma: Huk

MKP: evolved into marine tank

Puma: It's hell. I'm depressed. The joy from melting workers has disappeared

Rain: It became boring

Q:Do you fear the gracken now that he has had his run through korean terrans?

MKP: I don't want to play him

Q:When do you get ghosts in TvZ?

MKP: After you and your opponent take all the expos

Puma: When you're just turtling -- because Ghosts can take on every unit the zerg has

Rain: against Hive tech units

Q:In TvP are they more scared of a protoss who starts the game by going archon, storm, or collosi the most? Best protoss build for pvt?

MKP: Immortals are scarier than all three of those

Puma: Immortals are too strong nowadays. That range upgrade is huge

Rain: Immortals. They really don't die.

Regarding Protoss Builds:

MKP: Robotics -> Expand -> Pressure with Immortals

Puma: 14/1516 Nexus

Rain: Same as Puma.

Q:What unit would they like to see in hots?

Unit in HOTS:

MKP: Firebat. So I can kill all the Zerglings and Zealots

Puma: Science Vessel. I'll fly around and shoot EMPs

Rain: For me, vulture.

Q:Why don't terrans go mech TvT more often?

MKP: Mechanic is only good if you use it well. If you can't use it well, then it's really

pathetic. You need to use it like MVP.

Puma: It's not very good unless it's in a simple and small map.

Rain: because hellions got nerfed

Q:What openings/builds for TvZ are the best right now?

MKP: 11/11

Puma: One factory, reactor, and then getting two orbitals

Rain: Proxy 11/11

Q:What do they think of the transformer hellion idea from the HotS silhouette?

MKP: i want that hellion to be able to jump cliffs like Reapers, Damage like Marauders, shoot air like Marines, and be able to use Stim

Puma: Adding another unit will be more fun

Rain: If they can fire at the same time (from the top and the original hellion attack) it'd be cool

Q:Ask them their mindset going into a TvP.

MKP: I'm not going to lose

Puma: Let's just not let him break my defense

Rain: I play without thinking about anything

Q:Ask them to each name one of their favorite practice partners.

MKP

Terran: Clide Zerg: None Protoss: Choya

Puma:

Only practices Protoss

Protoss: Pooh, JYP, Hero, MC

Q:What does Marineking think of Bomber's games (g3) against Idra?

MKP: He was a little worse than me. If I played that game, I would have won. I don't think he understands marines very well [he's just kidding]
