[DotA2] Dota 2 Sammelthread

Wollen wir nicht mal ein team auf machen um Rosh zu killen?^^ 4-5 Leute könnte ich auftreiben (abends). Tagsüber 3 Leute. Fehlen also so 5-7. Bei Interesse hier melden. Cool wäre morgen, Freitag abend oder Samstags und Sonntags ganzen tag
 
Gab heute wieder n Minipatch - Rosh kann u.a. nicht mehr gehext / gesilenced werden. Auch wird nicht mehr angezeigt wo der aktuell Rekord steht (bis die Auswertung des Tages erfolgt ist).

Diretide:
- More Flesh Heap fixes for Diretide
- Cleave no longer affects Roshan in Diretide
- Roshan movement cannot be obstructed during Sugar Rush
- Magic Resistance increase reduced from 10 per level to 5 per level
- Base Magic Resistance increased from 0 to 50%

Dota 2 Update - November 22nd, 2013
- Fixed -workshop command line parameter not initializing correctly (caused various issues, including not requiring particle date for items that have attached particle systems)
- Self-Made items can no longer be chiseled, socketed, or hammered.
- Gems extracted from an item that is "tradable after date" or "cannot be traded" will gain the same property.
- The 'you have new items' notification has had a few issues fixed. This message will also now expire after 60 seconds if ignored.
- The pickup items screen has been removed. New items will be shown when the user enters the armory as popups.
- Some issues with client item acknowledgement have been fixed that caused items to be "invisible" to the armory but visible in the Steam backpack.
- When an item is hammered and its gems extracted, the now gemless item and the extracted gems will all popup as newly found items.
- A bug that caused gems to get stacked on top of the item they were extracted from in the armory UI has been fixed. Items that are hidden under gems can be found by moving the gems or sorting the backpack.
- We are in the process of restoring items that had their original special quality (genuine, vintage, etc) changed by gems. At the moment the Inscribed, Autographed, and Ascended qualities will only be set on items that have no other special quality.
- The reason for a new item entering the armory is now displayed in the item drop popup, i.e.: "Customer Support Granted You:" or "You Earned a Drop:"
- After acknowledging a new item drop, the armory will flip to the page where the item has been placed.
- After closing the socketing and crafting UIs the armory will return to its original page instead of going to page 1.
- Added new armory filters: "Is Equipped" and "Number of Sockets"
- You can now preview color and effect changes in the socketing UI before committing the changes.
- Fixed Necrophos VO playing at half speed.
- Fixed Juggernaut VO not playing.
- Added belt slot to Pudge
- The Star Series 8 Prize Pool has been correctly updated to $50,000 base.
- Fixed a case where html and 3D views in the UI could become corrupt after using alt-tab
- Fixed a crash when using alt-tab
- Fixed a crash when watching long replays on 32-bit windows
- New custom item sets for Abaddon, Bounty Hunter and Sand King as well as Coco the Courageous courier

WuKong get paused and lose ability to attack, become invulnerable. Fun fact - invulnerability doesnt really matter, there are trigger which heals him up completely on any damage event.
Message appears:
Let's play some games. If I have fun I will give you a reward.

tarts 20 seconds timer.

Once 20 seconds pass message appears:
Race me to the other side of the river. Start in 5 seconds!

Trigger randomly choose one hero in 1800 area around WuKong as second runner, adding special effect on him and create a flag at finish - bottom rune location.

Both runners WuKong and hero get lined up and paused.
Countdown keeps going, and when reachs 0:

  • WuKong get moved to start position again;
  • Runners unpausing;
  • Hero get ensnared by dummy unit for 5 seconds;
  • WuKong get moved by trigger for 1/200 of distance between start and finish every 0.03 seconds, which means he will end race in 6 seconds with movespeed = 1195. Hes also ignore obstacles.

If second runner didnt reach the target in 6 seconds, WuKong landing on finish, stomping around (visual only) and message appears:
Too slow!

Then WuKong disappear - quest failed.
Else if player finished first WuKong says:
You used a trick. Good job!
and this part done.

Starts 5 seconds timer. Once it expires message appears:
Can you find which is the real me?

Trigger picks random hero in 1800 radius around WuKong and store him as Player.
Then trigger pick random number - 0, 1 or 2, and place 3 another WuKongs with slightly different vertex color. You can trace the original by clicking him before this part starts (selection will stay) or comparing portraits (original slightly different).
When one of WuKongs get damaged (by anything, so be aware - creeps counted as well) triggers fired, regardless if it done by Player or anything else. If player has choosen wrong message appears:
Wrong! You should pay more attention.

and WuKong disappear. Failed!
If u chose right one message appears:
and WuKong become invulnerable. Meanwhile 10 seconds timer started.

On timer expires message appears:
Let's see if you can find a way to beat me. I'll give you 20 minutes.


Wukong become vulnerable and can attack. Another trigger fired every 0.1 seconds, doing:
  • Dominate illusions in 1000 aoe for WuKong
  • Remove one active MKB from heroes in 1000 aoe
Every 20 seconds all units in 1000 AoE around WuKong drops their items on ground
Every 30 seconds all units in 1000 AoE around WuKong get ensnared for 5 seconds.

Once 20 minutes pass and Wukong still alive message appears:
That was a little fun! You can have your fake Monkey King Bar back. I already ate the Peach.
MKB used for summoning appears again, WuKong disapper. Fail!

If WuKong get killed message appears:
What is this trick?? Well, you earned it. Here is the real Monkey King Bar.

Genuine Monkey King Bar spawn on WuKong position and WuKong disappear.

Genuine Monkey King Bar description:
The one true Monkey King Bar. Can only be granted access by Sun Wukong. Grants Truestrike, 90% evasion, reveals invisible units, instantly takes control over any nearby illusions and provides +10000 damage. Causes you and all of your friends to have maximum movement speed and maximum attack speed.

Doesnt belong to any player, so always looks like disabled item. Cannot be destroyed.
Gives exactly what description says.

This model could be used to a new hero. Basing on involved stories and stuff we can assume that:
hero will be able to improve ms/as of allies around;
use some kind of a cloud to travel faster;
have truestrike or ability to counter illusions.
This is only guess, not based on anything aside of quest itself.

Bald sollte dann auch Diretide enden - ich überlege im Anschluss selber einen kleinen Contest zu veranstalten ;)



PS: Heute Abend sollten dann auch die Dreamhack Dota Spiele starten (SC2 rennt ja schon seit 13Uhr).

It's remarkable that in Valve's system everyone can turn a profit. While we expected Valve to make something, it's surprising to see a microeconomy where everyone wins. Workshop artists can procure a sustainable income, professional players can secure a chunk of profits through collaboration, and even the casual player can make money in a free-to-play game. Find me where something like this happens in another game, much less a game in this genre? I don't think you will.
