Dieses Jahr gibt es keine VGA oder VGX, dafür aber "The game Awards", wieder gehosted von Goeff Keighley. Die Awards werden am 9.12. verliehen, während der Show soll es auch wieder Neuankündigungen geben.

Was denkt ihr wird gewinnen? Seid ihr mit den Nominierungen zufrieden?
Ich persönlich bin ja etwas enttäuscht, dass soviel 0815 Kost nominiert wurde. Hab auch das Gefühl, dass Nintendo zu wenig bedacht wurde, denn imo haben die sich mit ihren Games am stärksten aus dem Einheitsbrei dieses Jahr abgehoben. Insbesondere bin ich enttäuscht, dass Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze nicht bei Soundtrack of the Year nominiert ist, denn der Soundtrack ist dank David Wise der mit Abstand beste und außergewöhnlichste dieses Jahr gewesen. Ansonsten hätte in die Kategorie sicher auch Smash Bros gepasst, was ja auch wieder nen historischen Soundtrack zu bieten hat.
