Auch wenn ich Metacritic nicht besonders mag: nur ein Spiel davon hab einen Metacritic Wert von über 70 geschafft, kein einziges davon über 80%.
Wenn überhaupt dann spricht das dafür in welchem armseeligen Zustand sich das RTS Genre gerade befindet. Keines der Spiele hatte irgendeine (positive) Bedeutung für das Spielejahr, geschweige denn für das Genre. Und damit haben sie bei ner GotY Verleihung nix verloren. Außer sie hätten eine "Least bad RTS" Kategorie gehabt.

Eben Meridian: New World ist doch soweit ich weiß sogar noch im Early Access, also unfertig.
Stronhold Crusader 2 war laut einigen Tests ne ziemliche Katastrophe wenn ich mich nicht irre.
Von Men of War: Assault Squad 2 hab ich kaum irgendwo irgendetwas gelesen.
Wargame Red Dragon hat nun auch keine Bäume ausgerissen.
Eine Kategorie für das "beste RTS" aufzumachen hätte wie Little schon schrieb absolut keinen Sinn gemacht.

Es traf aber nicht nur RTS Games. Es gab auch keine Jump'n'Run oder Sidescroller Kategorie, Racing und Sports wurden in eine Kategorie zusammengeschmissen, genauso wie mobile und Handheld Games.

Alles in allem recht unterhaltsam, es gab weniger cheesy Moments als letztes Jahr mit McHale, aber trotzdem wieder einige awkward moments dabei (die ganzen spontanen Awardüberreichungen (btw warum wurden manche Awards so nebenher überreicht ohne die Nominierten vorzustellen? :/), Missverständnisse in der Regie bezüglich der Kameras und dem Sound) und die Show hat nachwievor noch so einen Werbecharakter mit den ganzen shameless Plugs und Werbungen (wtf wie oft wurden Steam Sales und Dungeon Defenders erwähnt?^^).
Die ganzen Trailer zu den Games sollten evtl. auch noch in den Threads zu den Games gepostet werden.
Heute ist dann btw. noch die Playstation Experience, da sollte man auch noch ein paar neue Eindrücke bekommen.
