There are basically 3 importnat variables to consider with this system
K - a constant which is the maximum amount of points a match can possibly be worth, right now it is as follows
100 (1v1)
150 (2v2)
200 (3v3)
250 (4v4)
E - a dynamic value multiplied against K to weight a match value based on clans proximity in rank
for clans close in rank E will always be close to .50 or 50%
when an underdog clan wins E grows close to 1 (100%) according to rank proximity.
when a favorite wins E shrinks close to 0 (0%) according to rank proximity
Points gained = K * E
there is an added variable, O - offset
it devalues wins against same clans in a given day
currently it is set to
1 or (100%) for the first match between like clans in a given day and scales as follows
.9 or (90%) match 2
.8 or (80%) match 3
.
.
.
.3 or (30%) match 8
This change is brought on by the efforts of Darky and Maddox and launcher working with ZH-ADMIN who eventually got the changes to me."
