Tore from C&C Comm Centre has been working on something awesome; the Tiberian Sun Installation Pack.

It is absolutely the easiest way to download, install and play Tiberian Sun offline and online - completely free and legitimately! Tiberian Sun was released as freeware in Febuary, however it involved copying files to an exact location, running several batch files and manually creating a shortcut. Even then it was not guaranteed to work with the most recent operating systems due to permission errors - which, personally, I was not able to overcome.

The Installation Pack does away with all this. All you need to do is run the installer just as you would with any other program or game. What this installation program does:

- Installs the Westwood Shared Internet Components (optional)
- Installs a few extras; Map Editor, Manuals, Icons
- Installs the themepacks (optional)
- Applies the LAN patch
- Automatically applies registry entires
- Downloads and installs the videos (optional)

It has been tested and works perfectly with 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7!
