SOeben wurde die Ladder resettet, es geht los Jungs! The ladder season has 3 qualifying rounds for the Grand Championship Tournament which will take place after the regular season in mid-late October. You must qualify during one of these rounds to be eligible for the championship tournament. The top 32 players of the regular season will battle it out for the grand prize of $6,000!
There are 3 qualifier rounds during the regular season, each lasting exactly 4 weeks. Qualifying Round 1 starts this Friday, July 9th at 12:00PM P.S.T and ends August 9th at 12:01PM P.S.T. At this time we will take the top 8 players on the Kane’s Wrath 1v1 ladder and automatically qualify them for the grand championship final tournament. Qualifying Round 2 starts August 9th at 12:01PM P.S.T and ends exactly on September 9th at 12:00PM P.S.T. We will then again take the top 8 ranked players on the 1v1 ladder to qualify for the championship tournament. The final Qualifying Round 3 starts September 9th at 12:01PM P.S.T and ends exactly at 12:00PM on October 9th. At this time we will take the top 16 players on the 1v1 ladder who will qualify for the championship tournament, giving us a total of 32 players from the entire regular season, all vying for the grand prize of $6,000!
The more ranked games you win on the 1v1 ladder, the higher your ladder ranking becomes. If you lose games, your ladder ranking goes down. Keep battling your opponents to try to climb to the top of the ladder, and get into the top 8 during the qualifying rounds!
If a player qualifies twice or more ("Multiple Qualifier"), then the next highest ranking player on the "1v1 Ladder" for the Qualification Round in which the Multiple Qualifier earned his or her second and/or third qualification, will qualify for the Season Ending Online Tournament. For example: If the #8 ranked player for Qualification Round 1 was still ranked #8 at the end of the Qualification Round 2, then the #9 ranked player for Qualification Round 2 would qualify for the Season Ending Online Tournament.
Once a player has ranked in the "Top 8" on the 1v1 Ladder for any Qualification Round, they do not need to continue playing or hold their rank in order to stay qualified for the Season Ending Online Tournament. However, if a player decides to continue playing and can maintain their "Top 8" ranking for two Qualification Rounds, then they will win a cash prize of $250 U.S dollars. If a player can maintain their "Top 8" ranking for three straight Qualification Rounds, then they will win a further cash prize of $500 U.S dollars.
The Online Season Ending Tournament will consist of 32 players and will be a single elimination bracketed tournament. Each player will play a "Best of 3" against their opponent. The maps and rules will be designated by the Command & Conquer League team. The first player to win two matches against their opponent will move onto the next bracket. The top two (2) players from the Season Ending Online Tournament will compete for the Championship Match and the Grand Prize for the Competition.
