Dear United-Forum members,
Those of you who also visit the Official Command & Conquer forum will know me from there as a moderator and as community manager APOC’s right hand.
One of my jobs at EA is to coordinate the banning of disconnectors, cheaters and hackers. For this, I work with a team of dedicated volunteers. In the course of the last couple of months, we have reset, locked or banned several hundreds of accounts for various offenses.
All this wouldn’t be possible without the energetic help of the Command & Conquer community. Without the players’ numerous reports, we would have only been able to get rid of a fraction of those who try to destroy other people’s fun in playing the game.
The United-Forum, being one of the largest Command & Conquer forums, has played a considerable part in this. My team and I work closely with the UF admins to verify your reports and take action if necessary.
Thus, I would like to use this statement to thank you in the name of EA and my team for your awesome help. Good job!
At the same time, I would also like to ask you to continue reporting as actively as before and help to keep Command & Conquer free from disconnectors, cheaters and hackers. I can assure you that we check every one of your reports. Without your help, we couldn’t do our jobs as good as we are able to do it right now. Your efforts are not in vain.
I have created a thread at the Official Command & Conquer forums to verify that this was written by me and not by some impersonator. You can find the thread here:
http://forums.ea.com/mboards/thread.jspa?threadID=394753
Finally, I would like to refer to something else. It was brought to my attention that a member of the United-Forum is spreading rumours about a hotline where you can supposedly report people to have them banned. However, this information is fake. There is no such hotline.
Again, thank you very much for your help,
EA_2Poc
Liebe United-Forum Mitglieder,
http://forums.ea.com/mboards/thread.jspa?threadID=394753
EA_2Poc
