Hey guys,
This afternoon we realize the updated SDK was missing a few key components so we quickly updated the SDK with some key additions.
The new additions are:
-Updated global and static manifest files,
-Updated TacticalHud UI screen
-Added a new HUDReplayControlPanel screen
-The SDK has also been recompiled so they work with the latest schema, lua, etc
The updated 4.0 version for Patch 1.09 is now available here:
http: //www.commandandconquer.com/community/mods/default. aspx
We did not release this earlier in the week because we received some assistance in modifying the documentation with some very helpful updates. It is my bad for posting a thread that said "very soon". It was a wrongful assumption.
The 4.0 version also has the updated XML/XSD files and more importantly, the new documentation includes:
-updates to the common issues page
- building a mod updates
-new pages for Audio and Defines
These new pages and enhancements should help you out.
Apologies this comes a week later, but its never just as easy as zipping up new files. I hear you Golan, but its a given that modders will always come up with new tools and sometimes faster ways to do things that we can't provide from the beginning. I'll write another thread about this.
Re-download the MOD SDK and update to version 4.0.
Thanks,
APOC
