Agriippaul has been banned and kicked from the ladder.
I am looking in to other accounts as well.
Just so you guys are aware, someone like Agrippaul has irrefutable statiscal obvious evidence that he has been DC'n his way to the top.
Right now, the best way to determine is showing evidence that is above and beyond without a doubt. I am working with Gamereplays DC section to also help determine who should be kicked from the ladder and stats reset, they have a good sub-forum setup over there that is very helpful. It is not an easy thing to do in a peer v peer game like ours to detect and track accurate disconnects. We're looking in to further enhancements since we know frequency tracking is not the be-all-end-all to this issue. Its just a start.
I'm fully aware of what Supreme Commander is doing and its fairly exactly the same as what we are doing. They are peer to peer as well and have the same issue.
We're looking in to different things to help this along more so and we are taking action. I know the action being taken is not as quick as you guys would prefer but there are processes I need to go through before I can ban, kick, suspend. Process that involve talking to EA Customer Support and Gamespy and multiple e-mails. Its not a simple "press the button" as KANE would assume) I wish it were, trust me, that would be awesome!
Please entrust that when it boils down to important ranks being taken by cheaters or disconnectors, we will get to them. They will not gain any better reputation or prize by staying atop the ladder a few extra days if we don't get to them quickly enough. When we determine tournament winners and seasonal winners, we will do a statisical analysis on them and their rep to ensure they have played fairly.
No matter what, we will get to them. We won't let someone like an Agrippaul win a ladder season or maintain such a rank for too long when such evidence as this is presented.
The witch that was #2 is gone, kicked. He can start a new name, should he do the same thing again, then we will serial key ban.
1st disconnect offense = kick from the ladder, stat reset, ban on account name (means, go create a new name)
2nd disconnect offense = serial key ban
If you are caught using a trainer or cheat with irrefutable evidence, this is an instant serial key ban as we've communicated. While we may send a warning first, if the evidence shows without a doubt, its an instant serial key ban,
And while we are looking at frequency and other factors like what you guys have done here, making the final decision is not something I can do quickly without looking at all the evidence.
Thanks,
APOC

Isonide, its not paperwork, its process and yes its not the greatest. Its not two days late on accident. I would have liked to have gotten this done on Monday, but it did not happen.
My fault, point the finger here.
I'm trying to figure out the best weekly process, whether its a single day that we hand out bans weekly or day by day.
Its a work in progress.
Lets be honest, the way we've handled such instances in our past games has not been good or even apparent. You could say this is new ground for us to go so deep on but at the base level, this needs to be a standard practice with a team involved helping out.
If I could snap my fingers and make that happen tomorrow, I would, but unfortunately, in business, things always take longer than you want. Too many factors to explain, but we'll get there.
Right now, its going to be me and my 6 upcoming moderators handling who will be introduced probably starting this week as soon as they all get back to me!
