Replay Tool *update neue Version

i guess this is for everyone:
when do i have to press home, or insert exactly?
when what screen appears? right after the game? at the final stats screen, at the first stats screen?

It doesn't matter, you can do it whenever you want. Only, if you do it while you're playing, it might result in an error, because CNC3 also uses the file the Tool triest to rename. Nothing happens then, but it's not really usefull to rename while you're still playing the game ofcourse :P.

Just do it in the statistics screen, you know that one that shows your units / structures etc. with a timeline.

doesnt work. no sound, and the replay doesnt rename.

Es gibt noch ein kleines Tool, das automatisch alle gespielten Spiele abspeichert. Interessant für alle, die an Ligen teilnehmen und vergesslich sind, was das Speichern ihrer Spiele angeht.

Und genau da habe ich ein Problem.
Ich spiele und habe das Tool an und vorher mein Verzeichnis ausgewählt, doch es wird nichts gespeichert.

anything in the pipes my replays are very messd up.
the shortcuts in the game dont work anymore.
I uninstalled and reinstalled, no use.
I am using a germany winXp.
my kaneedition is european english.

sometimes it doesnt show the lenghts of the replays anymore. just 00:00.
cant even watch em anymore normaly...

Hm, what did you do to get it like that?
The lenght of the replay being 00:00 might have to be because of the replay file not being completely.

And you can't watch replays anymore normaly is in the game itself or just in my Replay Tool?

All I can suggest is you do this: delete all versions you've got using config panel -> software.
Then go to "C:\Documents and Settings\<Your username here>\Local Settings\Application Data\Tiberium_Wars_Replay_Tool" and delete everything you see there (that map may be hidden, so you have to be able to see hidden files / maps).
Then go to "C:\Program Files" and see if the map "Tiberium Wars Replay Tool" still exists, if so delete it.
Then reinstall my tool again.

Do it at your own risk. It beats me you even have to do this.

If that still doesnt work, it beats me...

-Changed the lay out a little bit so users with a vertical screenresolution of 800 pixels can see
everything.
-You can now look up the ranking of a player or clan on the (clan) 1vs1 and 2vs2 EA ladders.
-If the program can't find your last replay file itself, you can manually select it.
-Added an extra column for the EA clantags. EA clantags are not added to the playername anymore.
-You can now choose to disable hotkeys while CNC3 isn't the active window. This means, for example you can use
the insert / home / page up and down buttons while you are surfing the internet without renaming
the last replay everytime you use one of those keys.
This is for people who like it to keep the Replay Tool running, even if they're not playing CNC3.
-Added an update function.
-The website is updated and you can find a FAQ there.
-You can now see the gametype (custom or automatch).
-Added a player / id lookup ability.
You can now rightclick on a playersname and select nick lookup. You will be transfered to my website
and you can see the other nicknames that player used in previous replays. This database will grow
each time users of the Replay Tool use the nick lookup ability and use it on a player / id combination
that was unknown untill then.
-Changed my email address.

So yes, a few early feature requests from people at gamereplays.org are now included . You can easily search for the players / clan rank on the EA ladders and there is a online nick / id database. Check the screenshots at http://www.airlea.nl/index.php?page=progra...d=3&subid=2 to see how these two things are integrated. Both options transfer you to a website in your standard browser.

The database has to be build up by all the users. Everytime you use the nick lookup function on a player it will check if that nick / id combo is already known, if not it is added to the database. Ofcourse you'll see the full searchresults after that. Here you can see all my nicknames known at this moment.

I hope you like the changes and use the Replay Tool a lot . Ofcourse I love to hear any comments you have. If you found any bugs, please let me know .
