Lost Interest after Lost World?

For 3 months everything was about the codes.
Then there was another 3 or so months...the calm before the storm
Then in 2 weeks or so the number 1 alliance attacked my Alliance (Number 2)
and then we were beaten but still clear second
and then I couldn't login without my base being toast every 2 hours
Then I lost interest

6 months of building to a defeat that happened in largely a week and ever since then I haven't bothered anyone else suffer the same situation?
People have suggested I try a new World but I spent 6 months twice a day preparing for...well not much in the end.

I played for over one freaking year, began as one single person, created an Empire as a single player, endured many, many wars and conflicts on CB 1, 2 and 3, always kept the Empire together until we all disembarked to launch on a new world, together, as a Trinity.

So well, I can't say that I lost interest after losing once ... twice ... three times ... or even more often.

But to say the truth, once I am done with World 66, which started two months ago, I am done with the game as well. More or less. At least as a leader. Of course I'm curious about what is to come, but I won't ever again become a leader.

Leader position is even more stressful the diplomacy is crazy I also found within every alliance there may be 50 members but it's the top 10 hardcore members of the alliance that ekeep the other 40 afloat

That's how the game works. A good alliance requires proper and of course loyal leadership and skilled diplomats, otherwise the alliance will fail.

And it's a question about luck as well. If I hadn't had the luck of running across some hardcore gamers who kept supporting me even up to now, I wouldn't have made it through the first few Months on CB 1.

Furthermore it's about the way how you keep your members motivated to continue playing the game.
For this purpose, we make use of Skype, where we have our core players gathered. Even if the Empire breaks apart, they will remain loyal to the Empire forever.
It's just incredible to see how well the efforts of creating a community have worked out. In the end, it's always a pleasure to look back and to remember the good old times on the old servers. Makes me almost nostalgic.
