Key Notes:
Yuriko will be a central fixture in Uprising.
Uprising will have a wider variety of lighting set ups. Some maps will be a lot darker than the current ones seen in Ra3.
Uprising WILL have NEW music.
The co-commanders will be featured throughout Uprising's campaign.
The Grinder CANNOT grind submerged units.
The Futuretech Headquarters chronoshifted to an undisclosed location, as seen in the final Empire mission (It must be assumed that the
Empire attacked the FuturetechHQ in the Allies campaign, also)
There are 50 confirmed missions for the Commander Challenge.
The PS3 version DOES NOT have keyboard and mouse support.
There are NO new superweapons or support powers in Uprising.
The Commander's Challenge was inspired by the Ra1 Ant missions.
The Giant Squid was cut during the planning stages of Uprising.
Another cut unit was the 'War Mastodon'. The idea was that the soviets cloned it, trained the offspring, and weaponized them.
The Giga Fortress is NOT an 'Epic Unit' in the same sense as the MARV, Redeemer, and Hexapod were. You can build as many Giga
Fortress' as your funds permit.
The Character of Dr. Zelinsky will NOT be returning for Uprising.
The AI in Uprising has received a lot of attention and is improved throughout the game, especially in Commander's Challenge.
When compared to the Pacifier, the Athena Cannon will be more efficient against structures and certain units.
There will be a Commander's Challenge Mission called 'Robots and Ninjas', which feature the Terror Drone and Shinobi. The AI is
apparently very competent in this mission.
Volkov and Chitzkoi will NOT return in Uprising.
The PS3 version of Ra3 has many graphical improvements over the 360 version.
Frank Klepacki WILL be composing combat tracks for Uprising.
If there is enough demand for a physical version of Uprising, then it may be considered.
Throughout the Yuriko Campaign, Yuriko will be able to be upgraded with new powers and abilities.
The only relation Yuriko has to Yuri is 'in spirit'. And that they share four letters.
The 'Red Alert' button will only be implemented in Commander's challenge.
The Tesla Tank will have some cameo appearances in Uprising, although NOT as a standard faction unit.
The Shogun Executioner may return.
Apparently, 'SCIENCE' is to blame for the Giant Bears.
The 'Unit Encyclopaedia' on the PS3 versions is a set of unit profiles that were done for the PC but never used on the X360,
incorporated via a special "Extras" feature.
The Campaigns in Uprising will be SMALLER than the ones in Ra3, and will be completed in about half the time.
There is NO co-op play in Uprising.
There will be 'Easter Eggs' for those who get all the way through the Commander's Challenge.
There will be 30 NEW skirmish maps in Uprising. These maps are featured in 30 of the 50 Commander's Challenge missions and are all
available in skirmish.
The Imperial Archer was created to overcome the EoTRS early AA disadvantage.
Yuriko's Balance has NOT been changed outside the Yuriko campaign.
A few campaign-specific units will NOT be coming back from Ra3.
There will be NO multiplayer content in Uprising, except for Skirmish
The Reaper is a good crowd-control unit against groups of infantry and light vehicles. It's also quite good against aircraft.
The Mortar Cycle is a VEHICLE, but it is built from the BARRACKS.
The Future Tank X-1 is designed to fill the 'Heavy Armour' gap in the Allies arsenal.
The par times in the game are based on the developers' best times.
The Desolator CAN clear garrisons, in similar fashion to the Generals Toxin Tractor.
In it's NAVAL form, the Giga Fortress CAN be pilot-sniped.
The Mortar Cycle's primary weapon is a molotov flurry attack, as well as a mortar. It CANNOT jump off cliffs.
The Archer Maiden is a TIER 1 infantry unit. She costs more than a Tankbuster (500 credits).
The Harbinger can ONLY attack ground targets.
The Harbinger can switch between its Collider Cannons (for heavy bombardment) and a chain gun (for infantry and other fast targets).
Dimitri Diatchenko WILL return in uprising as Oleg. He also got a promotion. Moskin will ALSO be returning.
Some of the skirmish maps in Uprising WILL be patched into RA3.
The Soviet campaign will 'lighten up' as it progresses.
Both Kenji and Shinzo WILL return in Uprising.
We WILL be seeing more of Commander Giles in Uprising. He also makes 'good use' of the Allies new Harbinger Gunship.
The Harbinger Gunship is too big to dock at the Airfield; it flies down out of the sky when you "build" it.
The Harbinger does NOT need to reload.
There is NO GUARANTEE that the units in Uprising will be patched into Ra3.
The Reaper's Special Ability is the 'Proto Jump' which can be used to crush anything underneath. HOWEVER, its legs break as soon as it lands, which turns it into a fixed gun emplacement. This cannot be reversed.
The Grinder's Special Ability gives it a turbo-speed boost that makes it faster both in movement and in its damage rate. However, its mobility is reduced during this time.
The Steel Ronin is armed with an energy spear for melee combat, which is effective against tanks. Its special ability is the Power Wave, which works in a similar fashion to the Sonic Emitter from C&C3.
There will NOT be a Hell March 4 in Uprising.
