alternative eco-change :
limit the numbers of your refs´based on your the number of mcv you control.
If we set the number of refs´ beeing able to be built based on 1 mcv on 2 following would happen :
As long as the tiberium field is not far away you can only effectively use 3 harvester per ref.
This way every player has the same amount of $ as long as both players have got 6 harvesters. Having the same amount of $ is the only way to make effeicient use of your units rewardable
( in short, the player with better micro and use of his $ wins )
The only way to improve to raise your income would be to built a a mcv which enables you to double your income.
Trying to double your income costs you 3500$ + the refs´and harversters.
Paying 3500$ makes you thing twice before building up an expansion.
This system also weakens suicide harrassment.
In the current C&C and C&C KW the reward for killing harverster is too high.
Dont misunderstand me, i want harrassment to be effective, BUT you shouldnt send your units into a suicide mission and still go out of the battle as a winner.
And this is, because the enemy doesn not only lose a harvester worth 1400$, but what is more important he loses theincome this unit would have provided which is alot more than 1400$ over time.
By limiting the effective use of harverster to the numer of 6 you are able to build extra harvesters that wont be of any use if you wont be harrassed. If you lose 1 harvester while having built 1 harvester too much, the 1 harvester build too much would take over the spot of the destroyed harvester.
This way you dont lose any income, but the 1400$ for the harvester.
Another thing is that destroying your enemies ref´s is a hell lot of more effective to cripple your enemies income.
