Who are the new Generals? Let's met them!

APA Espionage General: Callsign 'Blackjack'

General Info:
The APA Espionage General, Blackjack, makes excellent use of stealth to soften targets before bringing a powerful front line to finish enemies off. Whether using Fireflys and Saboteurs to sneak into enemy bases are wreak havoc or using Shadow Tanks to take out high priority targets, Blackjack is a force to be reckoned with.

Backstory:
Equal part spy and soldier, Zhu Guozhi has lived in the shadows for more than a decade. He speaks little of his past. His childhood spent on the heavily industrialized outskirts of Shenzhen, was remarkable only in how unremarkable it had been. Destined for a long military career from an early age, Guozhi graduated with top honors from the APA military academy before being recruited by Chinese Military Intelligence and trained in the arts of battlefield espionage and misdirection. Quickly he became the scourge of the GLA, infamous for using misdirection - notably using false intelligence and satellite holo-armies to lure GLA forces into deadly ambushes, turning the tactics of the enemy against them. Zhu's years fighting a shadow war have left him mistrustful of strangers. He is careful not to reveal too much lest he fall victim to the tactics he has shown such mastery of.

Player Power:
Misdirection

Blackjack has the ability to confuse and outplay his opponents with his player power Misdirection. Misdirection creates holographic copies of the affected troops that, to the enemy, look like real units. The holograms can be used in a variety of ways, from scouting into enemy territory without risking real units to providing additional targets to enemies so that his real units stay alive longer and do more damage. At level 3, the holograms created by Misdirection will actually do damage with their attacks, allowing Blackjack to put some more firepower on enemies while the enemy attempts to sort out the real units from the fakes.

New Unit:
Shadow Tank

Tactics:
The Shadow Tank is a stealth main battle tank that is fast, hard hitting and can be used for a variety of combat maneuvers. Given its passive stealth ability, the Shadow Tank can be used to safely scout locations on the map and take down unguarded enemy supply depots or oil wells.
In addition to the passive stealth, the Shadow Tank has the Particle Accelerator ability. The Particle Accelerator ability allows for theShadow Tank to fire a single target, high damage shot at the expense of forcibly removing the Shadow Tank's stealth for a limited amount of time. This can be used to snipe down high value targets, such as Artillery units, before you engage with the rest of your army.
The Shadow Tank enables you to bait out enemies as you can mix them into a normal force and enemies who believe they out number your force suddenly find themselves outnumbered. Additionally, the Shadow Tanks are excellent at cleaning up enemy forces as you can safely chase down enemies without them realizing they are being followed.

GLA Engineer General: Callsign 'Kitbash'
Kitbash-150x150.jpg

General Info:
The GLA Engineer General, Kitbash, focuses on vehicle combat. Utilizing Black Market Tank, Quad Cannons and Black Market Arillery supported by EMP Trucks, Kitbash can overcome any force with careful positioning and micromanagement of his EMP Trucks.

Backstory:
The introverted son of the owner of a local electronics chain in Gdansk, Poland, Pavel Adamek grew up lonely and neglected on the floor of his father's warehouse. As a shy, deeply insecure young man, his aptitude for electronics won him a scholarship to a prestigious university in Zurich. It was there that he met a mysterious figure known only as "The Operative". The naive Adamek was quickly seduced by the charisma, praise and seemingly compelling arguments of his newfound associate, and within the year had dropped out of university, faked his own death and shipped off to a GLA training camp in North Africa. Now, as a significantly more confident man, he applies his unique skillset to the GLA armory, taking existing vehicles and modifying them in unique ways, providing his masters with an ever expanding array of distinctive and utterly unpredictable combat hardware.

Player Power:
Stealth Field

Kitbash has the ability to move his vehicles around the map with ease as the Player Power Stealth Field allow him to stealth any vehicle on the field for a short duration with the additional effect of damaging any infantry caught within the casted area. Kitbash can use this secondary effect to his advantage by using Stealth Field to soften up enemy troops. At level 3, Stealth Field allows for vehicles stealthed by the power to fire without breaking stealth, forcing opponents to die, run away or build detectors in order to even engage your troops.

New Unit:
EMP Truck
emptruck-150x150.jpg

Tactics:
The EMP Truck is a new unit to the GLA arsenal. The EMP Truck provides a high amount of utility to GLA players while being able to be the backbone of any GLA force. The EMP truck main attack is an EMP shock that can do damage to any ground unit but does bonus damage to enemy vehicles. Additionally, any enemy vehicles damaged by the EMP Truck's main attack will be stunned for a short period of time.

The EMP Truck also has the ability to self-detonate, resulting in an EMP blast which will damage all enemies caught within the blast radius. The EMP blast will also occur on the unit's death. Not only will enemy units will be damaged by the ensuing blast but all enemies (Infantry, Vehicles and Aircraft) will be stunned for a short period of time.

The EMP Truck can be used in a variety of ways. Mixed in with an attack force, the EMP Truck can focus on enemy vehicles to reduce their impact in the battle by providing stuns while whittling away at their health. If the enemy decides to focus down your EMP Trucks, you can move them into the enemy army when they are at low health to use their EMP blast to disable the enemies so your forces can either escape or attack. You can also use EMP Trucks as pure suicide units, to disable whole forces to allow for player powers to successfully hit or to slow down an advancing army.
