Heute gab EA anlässlich der derzeit in Los Angeles abgehaltenen E3 eine Pressemitteilung zu C&C heraus und veröffentlichte einige interessante Details auf Twitter!
Gestern warteten viele C&C Fans auf die EA Pressekonferenz und wurden leider enttäuscht, als sie neue Informationen zu Command and Conquer erwarteten. Heute gab EA indes eine Pressemitteilung zum Free 2 Play Titel heraus. In der offiziellen Pressemitteilung wurden die üblichen Marketingphrasen umhergeworfen – bis dahin nichts neues, weiter heißt es „Victory Games is dedicated to letting players control more — more Generals, more strategy and more direct feedback in the game.“ – Hier wird noch einmal betont, mit welchen großen Mengen an Generälen man plant und dass die Spielergemeinde stark in die Entwicklung mit einbezogen werden soll.
Weiter wird der Start der Betaphase in der Pressemitteilung nun auf „später im Sommer“ terminiert. „Players can sign up now for a chance to access to the Command & Conquer closed beta**, starting later this summer, at www.CommandandConquer.com.“ Bisher war immer von ersten Jahreshälfte gesprochen worden.
Gute Nachrichten gibt es dennoch von Twitter, hier wurde nun nämlich offiziell bestätigt, dass die Closed Alpha für einige Teile der Community bereits begonnen hat und immer mehr Spieler eingeladen werden!
