B. C&C Generals / Zero Hour § 1 Tournament Rules (1) Every way of cheating is strictly forbidden. Besides using trainers or bugs we also count playing with multiple nicks or giving freewins to your opponent as cheating. The use of voice-software is allowed.
(2) Offenses against (1) will resolve in a tournament ban. This ban might last for a undefined time.
(3) If a game disconnects within the first minute it is to be repeated. If the disconnect happens later, the person disconnecting receives the loss. If there are any other technical difficulties please report them to a tournament admin.
(4) Games may only be observed by tournament admins. Check the United-BattleZone page for further details on who is a tournament admin.
(5) United-BattleZone-Nicks and IRC-Nicks must match your Generalsonline-Nick. In case your UBZ-Nick doesn’t match anymore you can change it in the profile.
(6) Every player must stay in the IRC-Channel #united-forum (QuakeNet) during the entire tournament. All communication with other players and especially the tournament admins takes place in this channel. In case you don’t have a IRC Client set up at your computer, you can use our „ready-to-go“ IRC, which is available
here.
(7) For participation in Unitd-BattelZone C&C Generals: Zero Hour the use of the anticheat tool ACETON is obligatory. You can download ACETON
here. You can use our message boards for any questions. Feel free to ask them in english.
§ 2 Tournament Modus (1) For exact details on the modus of each tournament round you can check the tournament details on the page (e.g. best of 1 / best of 3).
(2) The game options for the UBZ C&C Generals- and C&C Generals: Zero Hour tournaments can be checked within the tournament details.
(3) The regulations concerning the map choice will be stated in the tournament details.
(4) Every player may choose a position. If one participant calls for random spots everyone has to follow.
(5) When choosing your army please respect the armylock system. This means one player may not choose on army per round no more than one time. In consequence to this a player must choose a new army for each game of one single round.
(6) After all games of one round are played, the loser must report the game via the report loss button on the mainpage. Do NOT report the game before the best of x round is completed! If this should happen report to an admin immediately.
(7) Replays of all games are to be saved and stored for at least one week.
(8) In case your opponent does not show up within 20 minutes please contact an tournament admin.
(9) The tournament does not end until 22 o’clock (except if all rounds are played). After 22 o’clock games may be postponed to the next day. Of course you may continue playing for longer than 22 o’clock. A postponed date for a game must be verified by a tournament admin.
§ 3 Other
Rules may change at any time. In special situations rules might be modified to fit the specific case.
